Welcome to PhotoToLife. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our mobile application and website that helps you create beautiful videos from your photos.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using PhotoToLife, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not use our service.

2. Description of Service

We utilize third-party providers for authentication (Supabase), in-app purchases (RevenueCat), and video generation (FAL.AI). These providers have their own terms of service and privacy policies.

PhotoToLife is a mobile application and web service that allows users to:

• Upload personal photos
• Generate video content from those photos
• Download and share the created videos
• Manage their video library

3. User Accounts and Credits

3.1 Account Creation

You must create an account to use PhotoToLife. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

3.2 Credit System

• PhotoToLife uses a credit-based system where 1 credit = 1 video generation
• Credits are purchased through your device's app store (Apple App Store or Google Play Store)
• Credits do not expire
• If video generation fails due to technical issues, credits will be automatically refunded
• Each video generation includes one free retry attempt

4. User Content and Photos

4.1 Your Content

You retain ownership of all photos and content you upload to PhotoToLife. You grant us a limited license to process your photos solely for the purpose of generating videos.

4.2 Content Requirements

You may only upload content that:

• You own or have permission to use
• Does not violate any laws or regulations
• Does not infringe on others' intellectual property rights
• Does not contain harmful, offensive, or inappropriate material

4.3 Prohibited Content

You may not upload photos containing:

• Illegal, harmful, or offensive content
• Copyrighted material without permission
• Personal information of others without consent
• Content that violates privacy rights

5. Payment and Refunds

5.1 Purchases

All purchases are processed through your device's app store. Prices are displayed in your local currency and include applicable taxes.

5.2 Refunds

• Credits are automatically refunded if video generation fails due to technical issues
• For other refund requests, please contact us within 30 days of purchase
• Refunds for app store purchases are subject to the app store's refund policy
• Credits are automatically refunded if video generation fails due to technical issues with our service or our third-party provider (FAL.AI).

6. Privacy and Data Protection

Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and protect your personal information and photos.

7. Service Availability

Video generation relies on FAL.AI. While we strive for high availability, we cannot guarantee uninterrupted service from third-party providers. Issues may occasionally occur, affecting video generation performance.

We strive to provide reliable service, but we cannot guarantee that PhotoToLife will be available at all times. We may need to suspend or limit the service for maintenance, updates, or other reasons.

8. Intellectual Property

PhotoToLife and all related content, features, and functionality are owned by us and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PhotoToLife shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues.

You agree not to:

• Use the service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to reverse engineer or hack the application
• Share your account credentials with others
• Upload content that violates these terms
• Interfere with the operation of the service

11. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the service at our discretion, particularly if you violate these Terms and Conditions.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. We will notify users of any material changes through the app or via email. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the United Kingdom. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of the United Kingdom.
